Veterans lost to suicide every day

The military spent 15 years giving them a mission, a team, and a standard. Nobody told them that all stops the day they sign out. No next assignment. No orders. No development plan. Just a DD-214 and a handshake. ATLVets exists because that's not good enough.

Why This Matters

The Problem
Has a Number.

22 veterans die by suicide every day. That's not a statistic — that's a system failure. The military built the most sophisticated leadership development machine in human history and then shut it off at the gate on separation day.

ATLVets is rebuilding what was shut off. Leadership development. Community. Accountability. Purpose. The civilian equivalent of the military's own progression model — boot camp through war college. Earned, not given.

Your $22 a month is not charity. It's investment in the veteran development system the military forgot to build for after you get out.

22
Veterans lost every day
Veterans die by suicide at 1.5× the rate of non-veterans. Not because they're weak — because the system abandoned them at separation.

Common Questions

Before You Give

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. ATLVets Inc. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 92-0351235). All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. You will receive a donation receipt via email for your records. Consult your tax advisor for specifics.
What does my $22/month actually fund?
100% of donations fund ATLVets veteran leadership development programs — VetOPS career acceleration, the Senior Leader Track entrepreneurship program, the Manufacturing Pathway (AMP), Beyond the Uniform women's leadership, Heroic Forge men's development, and Resilience & Reflection faith programming. No donation funds overhead.
What is the Hero Tree giveaway?
Every $22/month Hero Tree member gets 5 entries in the monthly Elite Rewards drawing — a $500 travel voucher awarded every month. Winners are selected randomly, notified by email, and coordinated by Elite Rewards. You stay entered every month you remain a member.
Can I cancel my monthly donation?
Yes — cancel anytime, no penalty, no guilt. Your membership continues through the end of the billing period and stops after that. We'd rather you give what you can for as long as you can than feel locked in.
Do veterans pay for ATLVets programs?
No — and that's by design. ATLVets programs are earned through designated service activities, not purchased. Veterans don't write a check to develop themselves. Your donation funds the sweat equity model that makes that possible.
I'm a veteran. How do I get involved?
Start at the ATLVets Leadership Institute — take the program fit quiz and find the track that matches where you are right now. If you're interested in the Manufacturing Pathway specifically, join the AMP waitlist.

Stay tuned for more and let us know how we can assist you!
